In Quicken Mac, click the Help menu at the top. In the search box, type "icons". The first result will be  "Status icons in your Quicken account register". Click that to see the help page.

Don't you get a little popup box when you hover the mouse pointer over an icon?

Are you new to Quicken Mac (2015 and newer)?

No popup box, but I did find the icon descriptions in the app's drop-down help menu. I've used Quicken for many years but only upgraded to Mac 2017 about a year ago and it's very different, more complex, but of course more features. I only use Quicken for a few minutes once a month to pay bills and then run a couple of reports at tax time. Thanks for your reply.

Yes, the drop down help menu is what I was talking about. Glad you found it.
