Reports (Windows)
Is there a way in Quicken to run more than a 2 year comparison report?
Eck6
Trying to generate a report that shows more than a 2 year comparison. Not seeing where I can generate a report that is for 2017, 2018 and 2019 annual comparison for income and spending by category. Any ideas?

Try this report: Banking > Transaction > Cash Flow
Set Rows = Category
Set Columns = Year
Set your date range and any other customization settings.

,
You should be able to generate the report you want for multiple years. Do this:
Go to Reports > Spending > Income and Expense by Category > Enter
On the next screen for "Date range:" select "Custom Dates" and enter the beginning and ending dates.
On the same screen for "Interval:" select "Year"
That should do it. Let us know how you make out.

I agree with the other suggestions but they will only give you the numbers for each year, they won’t give you the “comparison“. If you want to see the variance from year to year you will have to export the report to Excel and calculate it.

Maybe a matter of semantics but "Comparison" does not equal "Variance." And the original question was about the number of years that could be compared in Quicken.
just sayin'...
