How do I transfer Quicken files to a new computer

I imported my existing file to my upgraded Quicken program on my new computer but the file that was transferred was incomplete

Much more info is needed to help with this. What Quicken versions are you coming from and going to? What operating system versions are running on both computers? How did you go about transferring the file?
