Add Security

I have three accounts with several securities under each account. I have tried to add a new security to one of the accounts but it does not show up. It does appear in the Securities List. How do I get the new security to appear under the appropriate account? Thanks Jerry

    In that specific account, you need to acquire shares of that security. 
    • Buy Shares, or 
    • Add Shares
    would the the likely transactions to enter.

    I can't acquire shares for a security that doesn't exist in the Account!

    Why not?  Are you confusing File with Account? 

    Is that account designated as a Single Mutual Fund Account? (See Account Details).  If so, change that from a Yes to a No.
