No amount showing in Quicken register ending balance

There is no longer an ending balance amount showing in my Quicken register. The following is just an example:
Current Balance: 950.00                       Ending Balance:

When I enter an amount in the register and then save, the current balance amount changes but the ending balance amount still shows nothing, just blank space after the colon
