how do I set my daily transactions to be grouped by daily activity -not to be grouped by categories

Suddenly my daily expenses began to group in categories instead as daily transactions.

    Click on the Date column to make that the sort order. Then, it will return to normal.

    Whatever column you click on will become the sort key (ascending/descending as you click to toggle), you somehow accidentally made your Category column the sort key.

    (You also accidentally learned how to sort your register in various ways in the process  :))
