Quicken 2020 Edit tags

Have transactions with inconsistent tag naming, which changes there position in reports.
I would like to find all transactions with Cat: Renovation Tag: Floor, Kitchen and change to
Cat: Renovation Tag: Kitchen, Floor. This would group transactions Kitchen ... Master Bath ... Porch

You can use live searching and sorting to batch change. Here is how I would do this:

1. Click on All Transactions at the upper left of the sidebar (this allows you to search all accounts at once.)
2. Enter the Tag you wish to search for in the search file at the upper right. (Tip: you can click on the magnifying glass to narrow your search to just the tag column if needed, but this isn't necessary)
3. Click on the Category column header so that all "Renovation" transactions are grouped together.
4. Select the transactions you wish to edit, and hit command+E
5. Enter the desired information you wish to change across all transactions. Notice the option to add additional tags to the transactions versus replacing the current tag.
6. Hit save to update the transactions

This is easy to do. When you are done, you can click on the date column to return to sorting by that field. You can search (and sort) to find a variety of combos to update transactions.
