Yesterday I successfully did one-step update including Chase Bank which had been having problems. today I tried one-step update and Quicken crashed. Now I try to start Quicken, it takes my password, recalculates, then crashes. I cannot get back in.

    Try older backup

Next, try file. File operations copy, then validate the copy.

Check if a new data file (just for test) works fine. If yes, you need to find a backup that works, if no, you need to do a clean and complete reinstall

Tried backup from 2 months ago. Same result. I can't even get into the software to get to File Operations.

Try starting Quicken by holding down the Ctrl key before double clicking the Quicken icon. Hold it until Quicken opens.
