Thank you for bringing your question to the Community today. Quicken Home Inventory is not available as a stand-alone product. It is only accessible through the Quicken folder in your program files. Though, once downloaded into Quicken and opened, you can pin it to your taskbar.

I am at long last getting round to QHI. I have installed it but.......
When I open Home Inventory Manager from the Property & Debt tab it opens to a full screen Quicken Home Inventory which is locked i.e. you can't do anything with it. You have to to task manager and close it down.
Any thoughts or ideas welcome.

I recently got a new laptop and am not running Quicken on it. I just went to use Home Inventory Manager and had the same problem you did. Sad that no one posted a solution to this problem.
