Freeze allocated budget?

Quicken 20 R30.21 on Win 10 keeps altering my allocated budget numbers on a budget I manually created. How do I prevent Quicken from making those changes?

Apparently, Quicken thinks it knows better than I do...but I don't think it does and want control over this. Help, please?

What do you mean by allocating? There are some places in quicken where it will pro-rate a budget based on the number of days through the month, e.g. if it is the middle of the month it will show the budget as one half. That is by design.

To avoid that pro rating in the planning tab, do not use year to date. Instead pick monthly.
