Validation Errors

After having had a corrupt file that cost me a lot of time to rectify I run frequent validations of my data and occasionally it fixes various errors. Today I got this (and I've got similar messages before after validation):

QDF:
Validating your data.

Quicken found an invalid transaction and removed it. "ACCT_115ea"  0/ 0/1900

Then my follow-up validation came up with this:

QDF:
Validating your data.
Repaired your data file by removing a damaged category. Please check your category list for missing categories by going to Tools>Category List.

QEL:
No read errors.

I've got errors like this before that says there was an invalid transaction that was removed, invalid category that was removed or something similar. Yet I've never noticed anything removed or missing. What exactly does this mean?

Furthermore, why can't the DATA_LOG tell me which account was affected?

Usually, the account references you see are temporary accounts used during transaction downloads.  They should be flushed after transactions are accepted into the actual register.

There is an ongoing bug that fails to flush these accounts.  It usually happens when partially accepting downloaded transactions in a register and then switching to another account register.  So far no one has reported actual data file corruption as a result of these strays but they are not helpful and a potential source of future problems.

That's good to know... What about the category errors? Are those also temporary categories?

The temp accounts have an associated transfer category so yes, they are also temps.
