File will not restore from backup. Get an error that the file is in use. Try to turn off sync, but it keeps turning itself back on. Getting a bit tired of this software lately.

Thank you for reaching out to Quicken Community. I apologize you are having difficulties restoring your backed-up files. To better assist you I need a few more details. For instance, where are your main/active datasets stored? Are you attempting to turn sync off for the Quicken cloud or another cloud-based service? Are you using the same file on another device?
Once more details are provided we will be able to move forward with diagnosing the issue at hand.
