What is "I need to select accounts to export" message?

I get the message below at the very bottom of One Step Update Summary. I suspect I have something turned on that I don't want. Can anyone shed any light on what this message is reporting, and how to fix/disable it? Thanks!

    If you want to get rid of it entirely, go to Tools, One step update. That will bring up the OSU settings dialog where you can clear that option at the bottom of the page.
