... how do I undo this? I have no desire to pay for Quicken Premier (vs Quicken Deluxe).

Go to https://www.quicken.com/ and sign in into your Quicken Account and see if it states Deluxe or Premier.

Then Re-register your data file, by signing in as a different user.
