File Conversion and Backup (Windows)
How to restore data after having to reinstall Quicken on new computer. Backup didn't work

My old computer stopped working I had done back ups periodically but when I tried to use them on new computer there was nothing in the backups. Files from old computer did not transfer over the split entries so have to redo a years worth. Any suggestions.

What version ..... Help --> About Quicken
And how did you perform the Backups on the old computer - are we talking Quicken Backups or something else ???
If Quicken Backups -
Did you have a group of files from the Quicken auto backup along with some from the Quicken manual backup ?
What happened when you did the Quicken ... File --> Restore
