When will you add more characters to the Check # field?

With most of us going to e-payments the Check # field is limited to looks like 11 characters.  I just made an IRS estimated tax payment that had 18 characters.  I have at least 2 or 3 transactions per month that get truncated because of this 11 character limitation.

Thanks, I have been doing that sometimes too.  It is a workaround.  I'm wondering if Quicken will actually fix it or are character limited in that field.

I handle these payments as follows. In the Check# field I classify it as an EFT as it is an Electronic Funds Transfer. I then copy the e-check number and then paste it into the memo field.
