Registers & Transactions (Windows)
Quicken lost about 60% of all bank transaction history
eric670
I opened Quicken about a week ago and found my bank account history had lost a lot of transactions from day one (about 7 years ago).
If I open a backup file it gets corrupted as well.
Quicken Help is NO help, they just say so sorry ...
All help is very welcome

Eric , sorry to hear about your corruption issue. Is your qdf file large? I've had the same corruption issues and they seem to get worse as the file size grows. Another possibility I consider is that Quicken will allow invalid (and often invisible) characters in its data which could also cause corruption. I've seen this in errors in .QIF export files that cause corruption when imported into other applications. I've had to clean up my Quicken data numerous times for that. Certain formatting characters will cause mis-allocation of data fields and make field/record sizes exceed what the app or database record will handle.
