Cannot save a report with categories expanded and collapsed

Quicken Windows Subscription Member
We just upgraded to Quicken Windows Subscription from Quicken 2012 (and version before that back to 1992) and cannot save a report (categories by date) with the categories expanded and collapsed. When we save the report and the re-open it, it comes up with all categories expanded. In version 2012 and before, it came back up with the categories expanded and collapsed as we saved it. This is not acceptable performance. Please put the behavior back to what people expect.
