Take a look at the Filter settings at the top of the account register. There are 3 fields, one of them is a Date Range. Change this field to "All dates" to see all transactions regardless of date, or select one of the other date ranges, e.g., "Last Year" to see only 2021 transactions.

The filter is set to all dates all types and all transactions. The first line in the register is today' date with a drop down calender and an entry line. All below are the previous year; 2021.

In that case please check the Date column header.
Is there a small triangle shown to the right of "Date"? If so, which way does it point? ▾ or ▴?
Click the Date column header to reverse the transaction sorting order. It should be pointing up (▴) for ascending order, with the oldest transaction at the top of the register and the newest one plus the new transaction entry line at the bottom.
After changing sort order, to quickly jump to the bottom of the register press CTRL-N
Is there some text in the Search field, from a prior text search you performed, together with an "X" icon in the Search box? To clear the Search field click the "X" icon.
