Dark Mode Problem

I think the dark mode was designed by a 29 year old programmer with perfect eyesight. In the budget screen I use the today line to determine whether I'm behind or ahead of spending in some of my budget categories. The line is only "one pixel wide" (ok, for the 29 year old with perfect vision) but I can't see it so I must switch to the classic light screen. How about making the line 2-3 pixels wide so it can be seen by the average 75 year old!!
