Can I create a graph (pie chart) that shows only categories (with sub-categories included)?
DJ17
I use a lot of sub-categories (and sub-sub-categories) when I enter data into Quicken, but I haven't been able to determine how to create a pie chart that is based on only the top level categories (and perhaps certain selected sub-categories) where the lower level sub-category data is included. Is this possible?
For example, I have categories/sub-categories set up as follows:
House
House Discretionary
Cleaning Help
Furniture
Improvements
etc
House Non-Discretionary
Electric
Garbage
Maintenance
etc
When I want to look at my overall spend for the year, I would like to be able to see a pie chart that includes just "House Discretionary" and "House Non-Discretionary". Or even just "House".....
Thanks.

Agh, my categories and sub-categories got reformatted in my original post. I am trying to describe a "nested" structure:
Category = "House"
Subcategories = "House Discretionary" and "House Non-Discretionary"
Sub-sub-categories exist under "House Discretionary" and "House Non-Discretionary"
