Purchasing I bonds; using Quicken many years, never had bonds purchased directly as treasury bonds,

only corp or municipals purchased w/in brokerage accts and handled in quicken by direct connect to broker. So, do I list these in assets? make a link to treasury.direct@fiscal.treasury.gov? other solution?

I just did this and set them up as an asset and plan to manually update as needed - I'm not sure Treasury Direct has a download link - normal savings bonds require manual recalculations using a web-page calculator.

Same here, my bonds I buy directly are in an asset account.
