I have a retirement account with LFG. I have tried to add it to my Quicken for windows file and after adding my LFG user ID and password I received the attached error.
I created a new/clean quicken file and received the same error.
I clicked on the button 'Sign Up Now" in the error, and it brought me to the correct LFG website, and I was able to log in with my ID and password.
I have the latest version of quicken loaded R42.8 Build 27.1.42.8. All my other accounts are working fine,
I'm a premier support customer.

@pat cleary - have you tried calling the Lincoln Financial Group Customer Support? Sometimes there is a special one-time registration or code needed to establish a connection. They can walk you through the steps to get connected with Quicken.0

Hi @Pat Cleary
Have you read the information found on the screen, attached?
Based on my experience with new security concerns with other banks, namely Chase Bank and Wells Fargo, I /you need to use another browser like Firefox, Waterfox or Google Chrome and log in into Lincoln Financial Group's Website. Call Lincoln Financial Group's Online Support and ask them what you need to do or go in, you allow Third Party Access for programs' like Quicken to download Transactions.
Or you can your local Lincoln Financial Group's Branch in your City.
Or visit : https://www.lincolnfinancial.com/public/individuals/support/customerservice/annuityresources/myaccount Sign in or Register
Then look in Service and Support.

As others have mentioned, as we see more often, and as mentioned in the LFG screen,
you will need to go to your LFG account and probably "authorize" access to your account from outside sources,
like Quicken....Let us all know - and any other LFG users - what you find and the results -0 -
Thanks When I submitted this question I also emailed customer support for Lincoln. I have not heard back from them yet.
I’ll let you know if I hear anything. I’ve logged into my account via their website and searched everything. There is no mention of quicken or options to access external access.0
