Closing Quicken

The only way I can close Quicken is by going into Task Manager and ending the task. I shouldn't have to close Quicken this way. How can I just close Quicken by xing out?

    I am sorry to hear about this issue with the software closing improperly. Thank you for asking about this here on the Quicken Community.

    First, what happens when you try to close the program normally? Is there a freezing or hanging that occurs? In either case, try uninstalling the Quicken program (note that this will not affect your data) using the steps listed in this Support Article, then removing Quicken from the Program Files (x86) folder. You may then reinstall the Quicken program using the steps listed here.
