How can I clean up a failed install to allow me to install fresh?

I recently bought a Microsoft Surface Pro X. I installed Quicken and was able to work fine. There was an update to Windows 11 and after the update I could not open Quicken. I uninstalled and tried to reinstall but continue to get Failed Install. I suspect I need to clean up the uninstall, however all prior articles about this reference the cleanup tool that does not appear to be available. All links go to the Quicken home page. I've tried sitting on hold with tech support only to have to hang up after waiting longer than I had time to do so.

The article you are referring to was archived by Quicken a few months ago.  This link will point you to the archive.  Just note that the instructions are outdated - meaning there are references to remove Intuit folders in the Second step which are not applicable.  If you use any Intuit product (such as TurboTax, etc.), do NOT remove any of the Intuit folders.  If you do not use any Intuit product, then there should be no such folders.
