Quicken still cannot connect to M&T for a Direct Connect One Step Update. OL-297A error. Quicken says the matter was resolved and closed the existing discussion. But, that's not correct at least for me.

I am sorry to hear about this issue with the OL-297A error message. Thank you for reaching out about this here on the Quicken Community.
Have you tried making use of the steps listed below?- Click the Start button and select the Control Panel.
- In Windows 10, the Control Panel is located in the Windows System folder in the Start menu.
- Select Network and Internet, then Internet Options.
- Go to the Advanced tab.
- Scroll down to the Security Section.
- Verify TLS 1.2 is checked.
- If it is not, check it.
- If it is already checked, continue to the If the issue persists section below.
- Click Apply then OK.
- Try your update in Quicken again.
I hope to hear back from you about this.
Thank you,
Quicken Jared0 -
Jared,
TLS 1.2 was already checked. So, I unchecked it & clicked on Apply. Then I checked TLS 1.2 again, clicked on Apply and did a One Step Update. IT WORKED. Thank you. Well done.

Thank you so much for checking back in with me and providing an update about how things worked out. I am happy to hear that the situation seems to have been resolved. Note that there is currently an Open Alert regarding M&T and connectivity issues (linked here), so there may be some intermittent online banking issues, but it appears that there are teams working on a resolution.
Feel free to reach out with any additional questions or concerns.
Thank you,

Well, Yesterday's solution worked yesterday only. On today's One Step Update I got the OL-297 error again (after an update to Quicken R44.20). Tried yesterday's TLS 1.2 solution today but to no avail.0

October 8 @ 2:48 PM EDT. Still no solution. Quicken cannot Direct Connect to M & T.0

Work around: (1) Export a QIF file on the M & T website for the transaction period you wish to import into Quicken. (2) Open the QIF file by clicking on "Open File" in upper right of your monitor. Quicken will open and import the transactions you included in the QIF file. Beware of duplicates.0
