Finding a transaction

Quicken used to keep the category or item selected and pre-fill it in the Find field. Now it doesn't and hasn't for a few years. For example, if you client on the category on a transaction and then did the CRTL + F, the category would prefill and you could select Find or Find All. Now you have to type in the search field what you want to Find. Did I unselect something in error?

    Depends what version of Quicken you have. This feature was added back several versions ago. The option is in the Find dialog itself. If you don't have it, your Quicken is too old. Here I clicked in Category and hit Ctrl-F.

    Quicken user since version 2 for DOS, now using QWin Biz & Personal Subscription (US) on Win10 Pro.
