Quicken is crashing when I try to open it after update to Release 43.32

After the update I'm getting the "Quicken unable to open..." error message. Spent a fruitless hour with telephone support (the guy eventually told me to contact my ISP). Tried the mondo patch 27.1.43.32, after which the program started and ran fine. But when I close it and try to open it, the same problem happens. Running the mondo patch gets things going again.
Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated.

Validated my data file and program opened without crashing.
Kind of surprised that wasn't on the checklist of telephone support. But I've used this program since 1985 and probably should have thought of it myself.
