The ability to schedule payments within Quicken will be sorely missed by me. How did a change in transaction download protocol result in such a change? What does one have to do with the other? It makes Quicken much less valuable to me! I am very frustrated by this and it has me thinking whether I will renew my subscription (or not). I can't be the only one pondering that decision.

Banks have decided to move to Express Web Connect+ instead of Direct Connect. DC supported 2-way communication and EWC+ only supports 1-way downloads. Don't blame Quicken, it's the banks making the change.

Thanks Greg. That explains a lot! I exchanged a few emails today with Mr. Dunn who explained it was not Quicken decision and it affected him as well.
