Adjusting my cost basis

When Quicken syncs with Etrade it is not accurately pulling my cost basis. So there is a cost basis, but it is not correct.I have to manually enter the cost basis correctly. How do I adjust the cost basis?

    Double-click on the transaction, click on the pencil icon next to Price Per Share, and enter the actual price you paid.
