Adding PNC credit cards to Bills and Bill Reminders

Is anyone have issues with adding PNC credit cards, as well as my home equity line loan, to BIlls and Bill reminders. I am able to download the transactions using Web Connect.
At one point they were there and were updated when the statement was released. Several months back they would not update with new balances. I do not pay the bills from Quicken. I spoke to PNC and they said everything was fine on their side and I needed to speak to Qucken. I called Quicken and they stated I need to use Direct Connect and I needed to speak to PNC and ask to be moved to Direct Connect. I called the PNC back and they stated they do not use Direct Connect. Help?

Hi @Jim Dice,
First, you should know that the information that PNC gave you - to wit "I called the PNC back and they stated they do not use Direct Connect" is total nonsense. PNC does connect with Quicken via Direct Connect, however you may need PNC to approve/authorize that direct connect method. I suggest that you talk to a local PNC bank if possible and request their assistance in getting the Direct Connect process implemented for your account(s).
Quicken's folks were right - you need to use Direct Connect and get PNC's authorization to pay your bills via PNC direct connect, but - unless there has been a very recent policy change at the bank - that is not a major issue.
