Memorized payees listed twice

When entering a new transaction, the memorized payee is listed twice, one with the correct category and $ amount and the other with just the payee name? I would only want to see the one with the category and $ amount. I am running Quicken Premier Mac, 6.10.2

The popup list will always start with the "naked" payee name that best matches what you've typed so far. That's just the way it's programmed. QuickFill rules are listed next, and then sometimes previous transactions.  However, the last QuickFill you used should be highlighted, so if you just tab out of the column, that's the one that would be entered. Therefore, the existence of the naked payee name does not really create an issue. But it's there for easy access (up arrow key) in case you are needing to use it without the QuickFill. Is this not the behavior you're seeing?
