When you set up "Bills" do they post to your register?

So if I set up "Bills" are those just reminders and used for projections - or do they actually post to my ledgers that day? If I have a bill set up - and bank syncing - will I end up with it in there twice? Thanks! Hoping this is an easy question :)

They're both reminders for future needs and, once executed, turn into real register transactions.
Reminders should be executed BEFORE the due date, before anything about them will appear in downloaded transactions. This way Quicken will be able to match the downloaded transaction to what's already in the register and not create duplicates or cause other problems.
