SSA 1099
karenm123
I'm trying to assign tax line items to the social security payment in a split, but don't see SSA-1099 as a tax related category, even when I select the "Extended line item list". There is a tax line item for the income, but I'm trying to create a category for tax withholding, but every time I try, it seems to come into the W-2 section of Turbo Tax when I import data. Am I stuck with just manually fixing it in TT or does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks

Hmmmm, I looked again and also found it listed under 1040

I tried that, it pulls the data into w-2 in Turbo Tax.

I created a new category and assigned it to "Form 1040:Fed tax w/h, Soc.Sec., self" (as above) and it worked this time.
Thanks for the help.
