Quicken crashing

I changed preference to open Quicken on the Home Dashboard. Now, when I enter password, it acts like it is opening but then just shuts down. I am not able to even get into the program to try fixing it. HELP?

    Restore a backup taken before you switched to the Home Dashboard.
    Quicken user since Q1999. Currently using QW2017.
