save button on transactions not working (R47.15)

Within the last couple of weeks I've noticed that after adding/editing a transaction the Save button for that transaction does not work. I have to click off of it to receive the prompt that the transaction was changed and do I wish to save it. Clicking Save for the prompt does save it. I would say this happens 9 out of 10 times when adding/editing a transaction. Occasionally the Save button works, which is strange. I've tried different combinations of clicking on various fields on the transaction to see if there is a pattern and haven't discovered one yet. This happens on all my account types, ie checking, savings, credit card etc.
I just updated to R47.15 hoping it would fix it and it did not. I have all my registers set to two line display, in case that matters.

The Save button has a rather small area in which the mouse pointer changes from an arrow to the hand icon. Only when the mouse pointer shows the hand icon will it perform Save when you click it.
When you hover the mouse pointer over the Save icon, a small popup window should show briefly, "Save", and go away after a couple of seconds. Does this popup appear to overlay the Save icon or is it off to the side? (It should be off to the side to not interfere with the mouse action).

I always use the Enter button on my keyboard when I'm done entering a transaction(*)

(*) This depends on a setting in Edit / Preferences / Data Entry and Quickfill, "Use enter key to move between fields". I have this setting disabled so I can tab from field to field and press Enter to save when done.
If this setting is enabled you need to press Ctrl-Enter to save the transaction.

Wasn't sure about this so I tested. The "Save" popup is below the hand icon. Depending on window size, and the location of the active transaction within the window, it might display off to either said, and maybe even above. For my testing it is below the hand and below the save icon. It does not interfere with the mouse in my case. It does disappear after a couple of seconds but immediately reappears.

I am able to use the Enter key to save so that helps. Thanks for the suggestion. Still wish the mouse click was working though.

(I've been a software developer for 35 years and in my experience the popup timing should be able to be controlled. They should really popup after hovering over the object for a couple of seconds as opposed to immediately displaying. Once I know what a button does I don't need to be constantly, and immediately, reminded every time I hover over it. And speaking of the bubble popups in quicken, some can be annoying and get in the way. Just my opinion.)
