How to stop reconcile without downloading popup notice

I get a popup notice each time I try to reconcile a bank account demanding that I choose between either downloading transactions or reconciling without doing so. However, the notice persists even after updating the downloads. Any suggestions for getting rid of the notice and the extra step it entails?

sorry, there is no way to disable that pop up.
