Quicken HB&R opening very slowly after latest update (R48.9)

When I opened Quicken today, the latest update installed automatically. Since then, opening Quicken takes 3 or 4 minutes instead of the usual 10-15 seconds. It initially shows a plank screen, then later the top menu starts to appear, then it finally shows my data file. After that, it seems to operate normally.

    UPDATE: When I disabled my antivirus (BitDefender), Quicken opens normally.
