Quicken freezes up when attempting one step update

When attempting to a one step update, a popup window labeled at the top as log in to Intuit. The window is blank and does not offer any means of input. The popup window cannot be closed. The program is then frozen. I must use task manager to “end task” to close the program. Also when I reopen Quicken, the same blank popup is still active but I am able to close the popup. When I attempt to send a problem report via the help menu, it always says it cannot be sent the report, try again later.

This proplem has been resolved. I disconnected and reconnect my VPN and my internet connection. Then the popup window asks for Quicken login password.
