Last night, attempted to update after being away 3 weeks. Got message to "close a process" before update could be completed. (Have never seen this before) Appears update successful, clicked "start Quicken" but now get message "unable to initialize run time components; restart windows and try again" Have restarted several times, no change. Help!

If you got a message about "file in use" or similar or if Windows was installing software updates while you tried to update the Quicken program to a new release level
- First finish all Windows software update actions.
- Reboot Windows and let it run for several minutes, to complete any post-update activity
- Now please download and install the latest Mondo Patch file from https://www.quicken.com/support/update-and-mondo-patch-20182019-release-quicken-windows-subscription-product to repeat your Quicken software update and to make sure it is correctly installed.
