Unknown error message "side by side configuration is incorrect" (Q Win 2007)

Have quicken 2007 which has worked fine until yesterday when we started getting this message, "the application failed to start because the side by side configuration is incorrect"

Did you reinstall Quicken on a new computer or make any other system changes?
