Dropbox & Quicken

I keep my Quicken files in Dropbox and have for years. Before I backup, I have to pause the Dropbox synching or i\crashes the operation. Since Quicken and Dropbox have partnered, why not have Quicken suspend the Dropbox synching while backing up Quicken? And related - how about having a Quicken Backup purge, Many other applications have you set up either and age or number of copies purge. I have written a utility to purge the files but would be much happier if it were under Quicken's control

You are correct about purging. However, you can set the number of backups to keep for the "auto" option, in the backup preferences.

I would not trust Quicken with that responsibility. Better under user control in my opinion.

Do you mean your active Quicken QDF data file - or just the backups ?
