Some accounts require scrolling to reach most current transactions.

This has been happening for a long while. Example (all accounts in transaction view, sorted by date with most recent at top): Selecting the checking account brings me to dates back in 2016 so I have to scroll up to current date. Selecting PayPal (for example) brings me to most current transactions. Selecting the checking account again brings me back to 2016 transactions and once again, have to scroll to the top. Some accounts always go to the most recent dates, some go to a date in the past. As I don't know when this first started, restoring from a back up isn't an option. If repairing the file is needed, I've got 20+ years of transactions to sort through (had to do this recently and it was hours of work).
Is anyone else noticing this?
For the developers. . . when will the Mac version be able to archive previous transactions as was possible in much earlier versions of the program? 20 years of data may not seem like a lot in terms of file size but it's surely a lot in terms of reconciling, etc. should a file become corrupt and need repair.

Thank you RickO, I tried the first solution and it seems to work. I'll see how it holds up as I switch accounts, update, etc. in the next few days. I appreciate your help!
