Get the following error every time quicken is opened. Hitting "Try Again" allows me to continue opening my file. Wondering if anyone else has a similar issue. Updates to cloud fine and my file does not seem to be affected in any way.

What is the full path to the folder that contains your Quicken data file on the hard drive? Are you using OneDrive, Dropbox or Google Backup?

The quicken file is stored in the documents folder which is backed up to OneDrive. I wondered if this might be the issue but it was working just fine until a couple of months ago.

I open my file via a shortcut placed on the desktop, also backed up to OneDrive.

I would suggest pausing OneDrive and then trying to open your file.

This is the error that pops up.

I would suggest moving your Quicken data file to a folder that's not backed up OneDrive.

    ie: C:\Users\<Username>\Quicken
