"Do you want to change a reconciled transaction" warning
If I have my register set to view "Uncleared" transactions, when I go to enter a new transaction, I get the warning "Do you want to change a reconciled transaction", which makes no sense to me, as it is a brand new unrelated transaction entry. If I ignore the warning, my register gets corrupted. If I change the register view to show "ALL" transactions, it takes the new entry without issue. The same issue occurs when "Accepting" downloaded transactions. Can anybody explain this anomaly?
Thanks,
Bob

Sounds to me like you managed to change an unrelated transaction in your register, unintentionally, by mistaken mouse click, and you haven't saved it yet … hence the warning.
Respond to Cancel the reconciled transaction's change and continue to save the new transaction.I've managed to do this on a rare occasion by mistakenly clicking the mouse while I'm moving the mouse pointer across the register. My left mouse button is on a hair trigger.
IMHO, it shouldn't be necessary to filter the register by Uncleared when entering new transactions in the new transaction line at the bottom of the register … I never do that myself. But if I need to enter a bunch of transactions with different dates and I want to keep them together on the screen, I change the register's Sort Order to "by Order Entered" instead of my usual "by Date" in ascending order.

I have 4 accounts. It occurs with every account register. All of my transactions, except for my new uncleared ones, are cleared and reconciled in each account. Again. this only occurs if I am in the "Uncleared Transactions" filter view. "All Transactions" view produces no error. Same thing for trying to delete an unsaved, uncleared new transaction. I have to switch to "All Transactions" view to delete it, or all hell breaks loose. I simply like the "Uncleared" filtered view to hide old transactions. I like to only see transactions that are current.
