cant update reconciled transaction

why cant i update this transaction? this shows "div" and it should have been a reinvdiv. system will not allow the change.

the R? could not change R (reconciled) to anything else.

    can you simoly delete it and reenter it manually?

    Not all transaction types are available when directly editing in the investment transaction list. Try clicking the Edit button or double clicking the transaction to open in the Enter Transaction (edit) window. The full list of transaction types should be available there.

    Quicken user since Q1999. Currently using QW2017.

    Mark1149- yes, but there are a lot, and i shouldn't have to if the system worked correctly. I see no reason i cant just change the transaction type code.

    MSHIGGINS- yes, selecting , then going to edit- transaction- edit transaction allows me to change it - such a pain.. can you wite macros in Quicken?

    In addition to the "div", was there a downloaded "buy" transaction, too?
    Some brokerages download two transactions, div and buy, instead of one "reinvdiv".

    Might there be Placeholder transactions lurking, to account for the holdings discrepancy?
