Quicken Will Not Open

Hello,

I just tried updating….. Quicken asked if I would like it to make changes to my computer, I clicked "yes". Then it told me it was closing processes, I clicked "OK". I saw that one of the processes it was closing was an unrelated spreadsheet that I had open and I clicked "cancel". Now Quicken will not open at all. It tries…..the icon spins around a bit then disappears. I have rebooted three times and also tried to open from backup files. No luck.
