Transactions not downloading, but logging me off.

I run Quicken "Home, Business, and Rental on Windows 10. I usually run "one step update" to download transactions and quotes from BMO Bank, Master Card thru FNBO bank, and Visa thru USAA. quotes are also updated for a stock portfolio.

After I enter the Vault password and get to the "one step update settings" all is well. then I press "Update Now" and I get kicked out of "Quicken". This has happened for the past week. Any suggestions?

    Explain "kicked out."

I get to the "update now" screen and click on the button, then I am dropped and have to log on to Quicken again.

By dropped, do you mean Quicken closes?

Yes, Quicken closes but does not go through the normal log out process

As far as I know, Quicken does not have a login/logout process. You may have to type a password to get access to your data file, but that's not "logging in" really. And there is certainly no "log out" unless you manually sign out of your Quicken ID in Preferences. Are you really running Quicken for Windows? What do you see as the "normal log out process"?
