Can I Stop Quicken From Changing Dates on Entries? (Q Mac)

I enter transactions into Quicken on the day the transactions take place. However, when I sync up with by bank and download (Direct Connect) transactions and they get matched, Quicken changes the date to the date it posted to my bank account. So, for example, I could do a debit card purchase today, 8/8/2023 and enter it as such on Quicken, but tomorrow, when it actually posts, Quicken will change the entry to 8/9/2023.

Is there a way to stop that?
