quicken messes up all the tiime

Quicken keeps messing up and making unnecessary balance adjustments. When I balance, the last statement is off, by a lot. the opening balance is different than my bank statement by $10,000 or more sometimes.

I opened a new account with $25000.00 only 7 or 8 entries, which are opening deposit and a few interest deposits. Today Quicken deducted $18000.00. NOT RIGHT. I opened 4 new accounts and two of them are messed up.

Not only that but when I reconcile, quicken always wants to do an online balance even though I am set for a paper statement. I keep changing it but it will not take it.

I can never figure out what is going on.

I am so FED UIP with quicken.

I am so done, with Quicken but I can not find another program cheap enough that will do what Quicken does. Quicken has the market sewed up!! Even MINT is theirs.

I opened a new checking account to start fresh and it is messed up already.

That sounds frustrating.

Let’s start with what should be the simplest case, the new checking account you opened to start fresh that is already messed up. Is the opening balance correct - matching the bank balance for that same date? How much transaction history is there, 90 days? How is it messed up?
